Double Cone Blender

The Double Cone Blender features a conical shape at both the loading and discharging ends, connected by a central cylindrical section. As the vessel rotates, the material charge naturally cascades from the top cone through the central section and into the bottom cone. This cascading gravity flow produces a highly efficient and well-distributed blend with minimal energy input and near-zero shear force.

The smooth, crevice-free geometry makes the Double Cone the preferred blender in GMP pharmaceutical environments — it is exceptionally easy to clean and sanitise, eliminates product traps, and supports reliable CIP. Its gentle action makes it particularly suited to fine powders that might agglomerate in more aggressive mixers.
